John Denver, a singer-songwriter who hails from Colorado that specialized in folk music, touched the hearts of millions. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was raised in Roswell New Mexico. However, he discovered love for Colorado. The singer-songwriter eventually moved to Aspen. Denver's songs that he sang about his adopted home state drew many tourists to Colorado. G. Brown of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame states it is true that John Denver is unlike any other musician who represents Colorado.
